_{A zine is a collection of works compiled under a certain theme or prompt, in either a print or digital format. Usually sold, but can be made as a free pdf as well.}^{What content is allowed?}
_{NSFW and Dead Dove content are the main theme of this zine, so they will be at the forefront, although NSFW isn't mandatory.}^{What is Dead Dove?}
_{Dead Dove: Do Not Eat, or more commonly known as “Dead Dove” is a warning used to indicate that a fanwork/fanfic contains tropes or elements that may be deemed morally reprehensible without explicitly condemning the sensitive aspects, and refers to any potentially triggering and dark content.
Note: Dark content does not necessarily be unhappy or troubling content.}^{Is this 18+?}
_Yes!^{Am I allowed to be an artist, writer, or a mod at the same time?}
_{Short answer: No. Long answer: We only have a limited number of slots available for artists, writers, and mods so to have one person take up more than one of them isn't in the best interest of consumers of the zine.}^{What are the requirements for the Zine product?}
_{Writer criteria:
• Word count: 2.5-3k
• List of triggering tags in your work
• Staying on theme (dead dove)
• Main ship must be SKK
• 1-2 songs to go along with your work
• Must be titledArtist criteria:
• Please head mods add the link to template file here with a wording of please read the specifications
• Resolution must be above 300 DPI
• Must have color & background
• Comics are acceptable
• Color Profile CMYK
• List of triggering tags in your work
• Staying on theme (dead dove)
• Main ship must be SKK
• 1-2 songs to go along with your work
• Must be titled}^{What do I need to apply?}
_{You need an active social media account, and an active discord account.}^{What kind of work do I need to include in my application?}
_{Writers: 3 fics, one at least completed and posted to an account. (We will be accepting any kind of website, i.e. ff.net, AO3, wattpad.) You will be able to link raw documents (ANY kind of doc) for things you have not yet posted. Each sample needs to be a min of 1k and a max 3.5k words.
Artists: At least 3 art pieces posted to an account. (We will be accepting any kind of website, i.e. Twitter, Pixiv, Poipiku.) They have to be fully rendered, and show an understanding of anatomy and color theory. We do ask that at least one of those pieces is NSFW and or Dead Dove.}^{Can I apply for multiple positions?}
_{Yes! You can absolutely apply for multiple positions, while you will only be accepted as writer or artist you're more than welcome to apply for both or as a mod.}^{As a contributor do I need prior Zine experience to apply?}
_{Nope!! All applicants are welcome to apply, whether you have years of experience or you’re just starting out!}^{Is this for profit, charity, or free?}
_{Yes! This zine will be for profit. Any revenue left after production costs will be distributed evenly among contributors.}^{Will this zine be digital-only or physical?}
_{There will definitely be a digital copy for sale, but we cannot guarantee a physical copy as that will be dictated on how digital sales proceed.}
